For Patients

Your first appointment

  • At your first appointment we’ll discuss your concerns, do a full mouth examination and give you an idea of possible treatment plans and costs. Generally, we offer a number of options, spell out their pros and cons, then give a recommendation. Be sure to tell us clearly what results you want, as each treatment plan is individually tailored.
  • We also make recommendations for comprehensive treatment plans, as we like to be proactive rather than waiting for problems to occur in the future. Comprehensive treatment plans can be spread over a number of years.
  • When putting together your treatment plan we may need to, for example, take models of your teeth, take x-rays or do other diagnostic tests. Referrals to other specialists may be involved, in which case you’ll need another discussion appointment.
  • After the treatment plan has been finalised, a letter with the estimated fees will be sent to you.
  • Please bring your referral letter (if any) to your initial appointment, with any x-rays (if you have them) and your complete medical history.

Payment Policy

  • Payment can be made by Amex, Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash.
  • Generally ½ payment is required for your treatment at the impression appointment and the balance at the insertion appointment.
  • For extensive treatment plans, appointments are booked in segments. A deposit of ½ the total cost for each treatment segment is required at the start of the treatment and the balance on completion of that segment.
  • If you have medical benefits, an itemized account will be provided for lodgment with your Health Fund.
  • If you are experiencing financial difficulty but require treatment, we would be happy to put you in touch with financiers which lend money on a payment plan for medical and/or dental procedures.
